MORE: Kessler has big day at Berkeley Elite 11 | Berkeley Elite 11 Regional Camp photos

BERKELEY, Calif. - Not only was Friday's EA Sports Elite 11 Quarterback Camp invaluable to see many of the West's top quarterbacks but it was a good time to catch up on all the latest recruiting news. Here is the scoop on many top prospects:

Kyle Boehm, San Jose (Calif.) Archbishop Mitty: Oregon State is the latest offer for Boehm and he said USC, UCLA and Alabama have reached out but he's expected to make a decision in the next few weeks.

Boehm has decided not to release a list of favorite schools but he did visit Cal, Washington, UCLA and USC over spring break - those were his only trips - so that could give some indication where he's leaning.

Chad Jeffries, Glendora, Calif.: Washington is coming hard after Jeffries, the quarterback MVP at the Los Angeles NIKE Camp, and UTEP, Arizona State, Utah, San Diego State and Utah State are showing interest but Boise State is the team to beat. Jeffries has already visited with the Broncos but has not picked up any offers yet.

"I want to go there," Jeffries said of Boise State Friday at the Elite 11 Camp. "That's my school."

Michael Bercovici, Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft: Bercovici recently took an unofficial visit to Arizona State and loved the campus, the facilities and the coaching staff and the Sun Devils have shot way up the charts for him.

Utah has recently shown more interest and Connecticut remains an option as well. Those three are out in front and UCLA and Washington are also in the picture.

Christian Suntrup, St. Louis (Mo.) Chaminade: Boston College, Kansas, Minnesota and Nebraska are the leaders for Suntrup, who could make a decision in the next few weeks.

It's believed that Boston College and Nebraska are the favorites but that has not been confirmed. Stanford has slipped recently and already has a 2011 quarterback commit in San Diego (Calif.) St. Augustine's Evan Crower.

Jimmy Laughrea, Rocklin, Calif.: Washington State and Wyoming have offered Laughrea, one of the big surprises at Friday's Elite 11, and he said Boise State, Fresno State, Arizona, Oregon State, Oregon and Stanford have been in touch.

Connor Brewer, Scottsdale (Ariz.) Chaparral: Arizona State and Nebraska have already offered the 2012 prospect and he said UCLA and Arizona have been sending mail as well. Brewer is nowhere near making a commitment and will probably let his recruitment play out for a while.

Ricky Lloyd, Concord, Calif.: Louisiana Tech and Southern Miss have already offered Lloyd who said Oregon watched him throw this past week and the Ducks are showing lots of interest. San Diego State and many others are interested as well.

Joseph Gray, Los Angeles Dorsey: Gray was a surprise at the LA NIKE Camp and performed well again at the Elite 11 and said San Diego State, Texas Tech, Idaho and Washington have been in contact. His teammate, Matthew Lyons, has already committed to the Huskies.

Nelson Fishback, Durham, Calif.: Fishback has visited Washington State, Idaho and Eastern Washington and is hearing from San Diego State, Fresno State, UNLV, Arizona, UCLA and San Jose State.

Brett Smith, Salem (Ore.) West Salem: Smith, the quarterback MVP at the Eugene NIKE Camp, expects Washington State and New Mexico State to visit his school on Monday. Washington could also visit soon as well. Offers are in from NMSU and Wyoming.

Bart Houston, Concord (Calif.) De La Salle: Purdue, Oregon, UCLA, Arizona and Cal are showing early interest in the 2012 prospect who plays at one of the best programs in the state of California.

Zach Kline, Danville (Calif.) San Ramon Valley: Maybe the biggest surprise at the Elite 11 Camp was Kline, a 2012 recruit, who said Cal, Stanford, Washington, UCLA, Oregon and Arizona State have shown early interest.

Nick Sherry, Petaluma (Calif.) Casa Grande: San Diego State and Sacramento State have offered Sherry, who said Washington, Washington State and Arizona have recently shown interest.

Seamus Finnegan, Danville (Calif.) Monte Vista: The recent transfer to Monte Vista said he's mainly hearing from Ivy League schools with Princeton, Yale, Dartmouth and Harvard leading the way.

Dillon Van Der Wal, Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian: The tight end showed up to catch passes at the Elite 11 and said Arizona State, Minnesota and Baylor have already offered. He's picking up interest from Cal, Oregon, UCLA and Notre Dame. It's believed the Bruins are a favorite.
